These terms keep every trip safe, fair, and fun. By booking with Tidewater Guide Co — online, by phone, or at the dock — you agree to the following.

Bookings & Payment

Your seat is confirmed once checkout completes. Gift bookings never expire within the season and may be rescheduled freely. Prices include all tackle, bait, licenses, ice, and fish cleaning unless a trip listing says otherwise.

Weather & Cancellations

The captain makes the weather call by 6 PM the evening before your trip. If we cancel for weather, choose a free reschedule or a full refund. Small-craft advisories and lightning are automatic no-gos. If you cancel more than 72 hours ahead, reschedule free; inside 72 hours, trips are non-refundable but transferable to another angler.

Safety On Board

The captain's word is final on safety matters, including life-jacket wear, seating while underway, and alcohol use. Anyone who refuses a safety direction may be returned to the dock without refund. All vessels are USCG-inspected, fully insured, and staffed by a CPR-certified crew.

Catch & Conservation

We follow all Virginia slot, size, and creel limits. Trophy fish are photographed and released whenever regulations or the captain's judgment call for it. Keepers are cleaned and bagged free at the dock.

Photos & Liability

We may take trip photos for our gallery and social pages — tell your captain if you prefer to stay out of frame and we will honor it completely. Fishing involves inherent risks including hooks, sun, slippery decks, and moving water; you join us accepting those risks.
