Eight Hours Past The Bay Mouth.
The brief was simple: four friends, one birthday, and a cooler to fill. We left Harbor Lane at 6 AM under a light northeast wind, ran forty minutes to the first wreck, and had lines in before the sun cleared the horizon.
The morning belonged to the wreck — steady action on cut bait while Marcus called the drifts. By midday the wind laid down and we moved to live-baiting the channel edges, where the afternoon bite turned the day from good to memorable. Fish cleaned and bagged dockside by four.
